When I did animal consultations years ago, people would leave requests for consultations on my answering machine (later on voicemail). I would return to find a message about their animal friend being in distress, asking if I could help them. Then, I would hear a following message thanking me for helping their animal friend.

How did this happen? Was a genie in the answering machine fulfilling their wishes?

I am curious about the orca attacks in the Mediterranean. Since 2020, orcas have been mysteriously attacking sailboats. My husband and I are both sailors and we planned to sail through this region. I am curious to hear about the orcas' motives, and if there is anything we can say to them to discourage them from attacking boats.

The day after Mo’s passing, as I gave his body back to Mother Earth in tender ceremony, a female tortoise contacted me. She told me it was part of their plan to be with me as guardians and friends in ancient reptile form. He got the first turn, and now she was coming to me. Her presence was powerful and friendly, with a sly sense of humor.

Mo, my deep and wise Sonoran desert tortoise friend, died today, 21 May 2023. This morning, I picked 60 desert willow and ruellia flowers. He happily chomped his favorite treats. That’s the last time I saw him alive.
