I have been asked if animals are aware of world events that concern humans. People often assume that animals are only concerned with what’s around them related to their interests.

A concerned animal lover sent me an article published in the September/October 2001 issue of The Animal's Agenda (a magazine published by "The Animal Rights Network") entitled "Hear Spot Talk — Are Animal Communicators Psychics or Shams?"

Over the years, I have communicated with many individuals of various species and taught retreats at Earthfire Institute Wildlife Sanctuary. Here is a communication from Coyote (chief or Oversoul).

Coming from Hong Kong, people are in such deep fear of the coronavirus (coupled with anger over the irresponsible actions of the government) that the vibrant city has kind of spiraled into a nightmare. Would you communicate with the coronavirus and let us know what it wants us to know?

Today on Epiphany (January 6) I have reached the destination of a long light-filled journey! I am so excited to have a special audio project ready to roll. It’s been a long time coming.

Chants came through that I sang with my students in animal communication courses and shamanic retreats. The lyrics and melodies arose out of dolphin/whale journeys, shamanic ceremonies, contemplative moments, and during dreams.

As Pepito and I were taking our afternoon walk, I was startled to see a Great Horned Owl sitting fluffed up on the gravel pile at one end of the driveway. He didn't move away though he watched us when we walked by about 20 feet from him to go into the yard.

Val Nuttall posed a question: You recommend feeding a raw diet to a dog or cat. What about the animals who have endured suffering and abuse in factory farming or is it just cats, dogs, horses you are concerned with?

I had heard about the Arizona Game and Fish Department’s tortoise adoption program before but I was not eager to fulfill the extensive and meticulous requirements for a desert tortoise habitat and care. However, I really wanted to give a non-releasable desert tortoise a home and welcome a member of this ancient species to our family.
